He deals in a general line of goods such as dry goods groceries clothing etc. His store which is brick 25 x 50 feet is one of the most complete in that part of the city. It enjoys a large trade and numbers among its patrons those who have traded here for years and years and have come to look upon this store with a feeling almost akin to home affections. His sons Henry and Emil assist him in the management of the business.
