Still living 1897. Visited city 1897 first time since 1846. First white child in county. Family arrived April 1837 and Mr Munger born September that year 1 month before Mrs Blake was born. 13 people came with the Mungers, all living in one log house. Munger Sr later built a house just south of Methodist church, and C W White residence. Adventures with wolves frequent and also with Indians. Munger family left here March 1846 settling in Sheboygan County near line, on farm known as Newhouse place later. Kept hotel there. Lived in Ohio later. Son of D S Munger who arrived April 1837 on Elwellen. D S was on schooner Elwelyn when it arrived April 1837, Road commissioner 1839.
