Mr Hentscher is one of the pioneer residents of our city, having located here in 1865. He was born in Prussia and came to America in 1853. At the breaking out of the war he was one of the brave men who went to the front and saw active service for 3 years with the Fourth Wisconsin cavalry. He is now a prominent member of the G A R. He has been engaged in this present business since 1865, and has an established reputation as an artistic photographer. His productions are of the very finest quality and embody all the advantages of his long experience has given him in this calling. As a citizen he is among our most highly esteemed.
