"When night move took Jim he could pursue his lonely journey, following the narrow Indian trail with a lighted lantern swinging at his side" "felt less dread at meeting Indians than white men" "Very faithful" One while behind time he made trip from Rapid to Green Bay and back without sleep. A native of Ireland. Came to reside at Rapids 1837
