Came to Manitowoc in 1836. Still here in 1854. Acted as scout in Indian trouble in 1842. One of three men who stayed at Manitowoc that first winter of 1836-37. One of commissioners to lay out Green Bay Road. One of the first Odd Fellows in 1851. School commissioner in 1844. Born in Mass. in 1816. Judge of Manitowoc precinct elections in 1841. Moved to and died at Benton Harbor, MI.
